Dr. Mary McDonald

Co-founder of McDonald Murrmann 360°, Dr. Mary McDonald earned her medical degree with high honors from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, Tennessee. Dr. McDonald was one of only two female doctors in her residency class of 12. When she finished residency, she joined a private practice in 1987 as the only female doctor among the seven physicians in the practice. Dr. McDonald also served as a clinical instructor at the University of Tennessee and continues to serve in that capacity today. After nine years in that practice, Dr. McDonald co-founded McDonald Murrmann Center for Wellness & Health with Dr. Susan Murrmann and together they decided to create something unique in the Memphis medical community- a practice for women by women. In addition to providing outstanding medical care and educating women on the choices available for their healthcare needs, Dr. McDonald and Dr. Murrmann strive to encourage all patients to take charge of their lives and practice preventative healthcare. They further emphasized this mission in 2003 by opening McDonald Murrmann Center for Laser & Aesthetics to provide additional services to help patients feel better about themselves, inside and out. Dr. McDonald’s love of science combined with her father’s passion for medicine created a desire to help others. A wife, mother of three, and grandmother of four, Dr. McDonald has focused her life on keeping a finely tuned balance between being available to offer guidance and support to her patients as well as her family.
